Hummingbird Moth Enamel Pin - Gold Plated Nature Jewelry

This is a high-quality and well-detailed enamel pin of the Hummingbird Moth.  There are two clasps on the back for securing the pin and preventing rotation.  Each Pin is about 1.5" inches wide and is packaged on its own meaning card.  The pin and meaning card are further packaged in a clear plastic sleeve.  The base metal is zinc alloy and is plated with gold.  This is a Grade A Pin, the highest grade awarded to pins, meaning that it doesn't have any noticeable flaws.      

Known for their remarkable resemblance to hummingbirds, these moths hover over flowers, feeding on nectar using a long, coiled proboscis. They are one of the few insects that can hover in place and can fly up to 12 miles per hour, a speed similar to actual hummingbirds!
