This is a high-quality and well-detailed enamel pin of the Iris Flower. There are two clasps on the back for securing the pin and preventing rotation. Each Pin is about 1.25" inches wide and is packaged on its own meaning card. The pin and meaning card are further packaged in a clear plastic sleeve. The base metal is zinc alloy and is plated with gold. This is a Grade A Pin, the highest grade awarded to pins, meaning that it doesn't have any noticeable flaws.
The Iris is said to be a symbol of wisdom, faith, and renewal of life. Many believe it was named after the Greek goddess Iris (the Greek word for ‘rainbow’) who was a messenger between heaven and earth. It's also one of February's Birth Flowers and the Tennessee State Flower!
