Vampire Squid Enamel Pin - Gold Plated Base

This is a high-quality and well-detailed enamel pin of a Vampire Squid.  There are two clasps on the back for securing the pin and preventing rotation.  Each pin is about 1.9" inches wide and is packaged on its own meaning card.  The pin and meaning card are further packaged in a clear plastic sleeve.  The base metal is zinc alloy and is plated with gold.  This is a Grade A Pin, the highest grade awarded to pins, meaning that it doesn't have any noticeable flaws.  

Despite their ominous name, these deep-sea creatures are not actual squids. They don't have ink sacs and are the only known cephalopods that don’t eat live prey. Instead, they catch and eat marine snow and turn themselves inside out to confuse predators.
